Europe Day 2025: Just a Few Steps from the EU, Miles Deep in Commitment

On this Europe Day 2025, CEC European Managers, the European social partner recognised by the European Commission for representing the voice of managers and leaders across the continent, joins the celebrations with pride and renewed commitment.

We are situated just a couple of steps away from the heart of the EU institutions in Brussels, and that is why we take this occasion to underline our closeness—both physical and institutional—to the European project.

As a respected voice in the EU Social Dialogue, CEC European Managers plays a key role in disseminating and expanding the values on which Europe stands: peace, cooperation, democracy, and social justice.

One year ago, during the campaign for the European elections, CEC launched the “Use Your Leadership” initiative—an awareness campaign encouraging managers to engage in shaping Europe’s future.

The campaign was later awarded by the European Parliament for its impact and originality.

Today, we proudly reaffirm our engagement with the European Union, its institutions, and its future.

Europe Day is a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and to celebrate our identity as Europeansunited, proactive, and visionary.

As one of the six European Social Partners officially recognised by the European Commission, CEC plays a vital role in shaping EU social and employment policies.

The six recognised EU Social Partners are:

  • ETUC (European Trade Union Confederation)

  • BusinessEurope (representing employers)

  • SGI Europe (representing services of general interest)

  • SMEunited (representing small and medium-sized enterprises)

  • Eurocadres (representing professional and managerial staff)

  • CEC European Managers (representing managers and executives across sectors)

Together, these organisations participate in the European Social Dialogue, a structured process where employers’ and workers’ representatives negotiate and provide input on EU social and employment policies.

This mechanism allows for joint agreements, consultations, and actions that influence legislation and initiatives affecting millions across the continent.

To all organisations, associations, and individual leaders who want to have their voice heard in the EU Quarter, we invite you to join CEC European Managers.

Become part of a recognised, influential network that stands for a more united, fair, and forward-looking Europe. Let’s shape the future of work and leadership in Europe—together.
