European Managers’ Review first edition

CEC European Managers has published the first edition of its review. The quarterly format brings together relevant managerial news, projects, and initiatives across Europe. Through this first issue CEC aims to exchange good practices and bring its contribution to the European managerial debate.

This first in-house publication showcases the work of the women and men it represents across its national and sectoral members. Managers are an important backbone of the European economy. As part of civil society, we also want to them to share their views on the development of the world of work, of leadership and of EU democracy. This new format celebrates CEC’s diversity and its ability to remain a particular and indispensable actor in the European social dialogue. Finally, CEC hopes this publication will encourage the younger generations to take on responsibilities, seize opportunities, and be the change our society needs.

In this first issue we talk about the dynamic Slovenian leadership culture, we then present one of our member organisations, Ledarna, before diving into the question why social dialogue is key to preserving local industries in Belfort, France. Lastly, we we will discuss the challenges the maritime sector faces and how to overcome them.
