Empowering Climate Leadership at this years’ Sustainable Leaders’ Summit

On 28 November, CEC European Managers and MEP Bergur Løkke Rasmussen will host the third edition of the Sustainable Leaders’ Summit. The half-day conference, taking place at the European Parliament, will explore the role of European leaders and managers when it comes to solving the greatest challenge of our time – the climate and nature crises.

With the EU Green Deal and Fit-for-55 package, the EU aims at becoming a global climate leader. Thus, there is a need for EU business and public sector leaders to become climate leaders as well. Without leadership, we won’t go far in creating a climate-resilient and nature-positive economy.

How can the leaders take on this responsibility? What are the needs and opportunities of leaders and managers? And how can the EU, management organisations and other partners support leaders and managers in becoming green agents of change in European companies and the wider economy?

Around one hundred leaders from politics, business and civil society will gather to explore leadership as a key dimension of the transition to a net-zero economy. Join us to discover how leadership can contribute to a better world!
