CEC European Managers responds to the consultation on the mobility package

In the framework of its activities to relaunch European social dialogue, the European Commission has organized a dedicated hearing of European social partners to discuss the presentation of a mobility package, i.e. a comprehensive review of some legislation covering professional mobility related issues. CEC European Managers has produced a document summarizing its position which, also in the light of the debate on the side-effects of freedom of movement and the so-called “welfare-tourism”, stresses the necessity to keep freedom of work as effective as possible, as a foundation value of the Union.
