CEC European Managers organised a seminar on the “leadership of the future” in the framework of its leadership series. The half-day seminar on 30 June 2017 in Stockholm investigated how leadership needs to evolve in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.

Numerous factors, including the rise of artificial intelligence, the automation of production processes and geo-political dynamics are influencing both the way we discuss the role of work and the work itself. In a world where changes become the norm and orientation becomes a scarce resource we need competent leaders and adaptive leadership systems able to structure and to create a shared meaning of the current developments – for the economy, for the society and for the environment.

The seminar contributes to formulate a European perspective on the topic and discussed the implications of leadership in the domains of education, mental health and integration.
