CEC European Managers Deepens Ties with Spain’s Leading Managers’ Union at CCP Congress

On 1 December 2025, the Confederación de Cuadros y Profesionales (CCP) — which this year marks its 40th anniversary — closed its XIV Confederal Congress in Madrid.

The Congress culminated in a closing session led by Marina ParraDirector General for Labour of the Comunidad de Madrid, and Maxime Legrand, President of CEC European Managers.

As President of CEC European Managers, Legrand’s presence underscored the link between CCP and the broader European-level organisation, signalling a strengthened affiliation and alignment of interests at the European scale.

CCP is consolidating its position as Spain’s leading independent trade union for managers and professionals, reinforcing dialogue and representation in both national and international companies, and ensuring that the voices of “cadres and professionals” are heard where decisions about working conditions and corporate policies are made.

The Congress addressed key issues, including mental health in the workplace and new paid-leave rights. In that context, Marina Parra spoke of the urgent need to integrate mental-health policies into work environments and to reduce occupational accidents, noting that the Madrid region has a 23% accident rate, below the national average. She also opened the door for future collaboration between CCP and the regional institute for health and safety at work.

By closing the XVIII Congress together with Maxime Legrand, CCP reaffirms its commitment to social dialogue and transnational coordination within the European framework.
